This is going to be hard. I?m going through one myself, so I do know where you?re position is:).
I suggest msn, webcamming, anything you guys can do together long distance.
Also, I suggest to schedule monthly visits if you can afford it. At least once a week if possible, if not than at least once every 2 weeks. And BARE minimum once a month.
Try to communicate everyday, doesn?t have to be a huge convo, just short emails, IMs?will cheer the other up and make the distance feel a little less far.
The phone is definitely one of your best friends when it comes to LDR.(phone card )
And also, trust is going to be a huge aspect to this relationship. If you think trust was hard when you were together, it?s going to be harder now.
You?ll have to trust each other.
All in all, it is very much possible to stay connected and together in an LDR.
I guess one of the benefits, is that you don?t really take your time together for granted. Ever.
Send him little gifts over mail every so often just to let him know you love him.
OH AND LASTLY?
Don?t ever let negative comments discourage you. Forget what other people say. This is your relationship, if you think you can do it, then go for it.
Best of Luck.
