Market leader in broadcast video test, monitoring and analysis solutions, expanded its agency relationship after five year track record of success

Mobility Public Relations (also known as MoPR) today announced its client Tektronix, the market leader in broadcast video test, monitoring and analysis solutions, expanded its agency relationship, selecting MoPR to be the sole PR firm representing all of its video product lines. Tektronix began its relationship with MoPR in 2010 when it acquired Mixed Signals, a MoPR client since 2007.

The comprehensive PR programs that Mobility Public Relations planned and executed for Mixed Signals dramatically expanded the awareness of its Sentry digital content monitoring solution throughout the cable television industry. Recognizing this success, Tektronix kept MoPR on to continue representing the Sentry product line after completing its acquisition of Mixed Signals. Based on the agency?s continued success, Tektronix selected MoPR to execute PR activities for all of its video product lines.

?Having an industry giant like Tektronix consolidate its video business with Mobility PR is a tremendous vote of confidence and a recognition of the success we?ve already had on their behalf,? said John Giddings, Mobility Public Relations executive vice president and head of the firm?s video practice. ?We will continue this success with all of its video products to ensure that the industry continues to recognize Tektronix for its commitment to technical innovation and engineering excellence.?

Mobility Public Relations has achieved several notable successes in the five years the firm has promoted Tektronix Sentry product line, including:

  • Winning multiple product awards for Sentry, including securing an exceptional 4 Diamonds ranking for three consecutive years in the Broadband Technology Report?s annual Diamond Technology Reviews
  • Placing 12 contributed articles in major cable industry trade publications, including three timely articles that closely associated Tektronix content monitoring technology with the recently passed Commercial Advertisement Loudness Mitigation (CALM) Act
  • Securing more media coverage for Sentry than all of its competitors combined for two consecutive years
  • Securing speaking engagements for executives at key industry events, including Cable-Tec Expo

Mobility Public Relations won a 2012 Communicator Awards ?Award of Excellence? ? the top honor given ? in the Product Launch Plan category for its work launching Tektronix content monitoring technology for use in addressing CALM Act requirements.
