The design process for today?s warehouses is certainly quite different from what was practiced a few decades ago as the modern style of design is one of which all design factors within the warehouse must be considered so that the material handling process is efficient from start to finish. For example, it?s usually a good idea to consider the idea that even the smallest elements of a warehouse are such that they are important to the final rate of efficiency that will be enjoyed by the company utilizing a warehouse. It is only by considering all of the elements together that a proper design can be obtained.
